COUNTRY STAR JONES KILLED IN ROAD ACCIDENT

Country star BUCK JONES was hit and killed on Saturday (17MAR07) after breaking down on a remote Texas road. The aspiring singer was trying to get his bearings, after a burst tyre force him to pull over, when he was struck from behind by an alleged drunk driver. The driver who hit him is being held on an intoxicated manslaughter charge. Jones, 33, became a cult sensation in 2005 after releasing the album LUCKY STAR. He was on his way to perform when he lost his life.
