COUNTING CROWS SCRAP THIRD CONCERT

Rockers COUNTING CROWS have been forced to pull another concert on their U.K. tour as frontman ADAM DURITZ battles with a bout of influenza.
The Californian group has already had to cancel two shows this week - Monday's (18May09) gig in Bournemouth and Tuesday's (19May09) concert in Nottingham - due to Duritz's ill health.
The singer had hoped to return to the stage on Thursday (21May09), when they were scheduled to play at London's Brixton O2 Academy, but that show has now been scrapped just hours before doors were due to open.
A statement from the band's spokesperson reads: "Counting Crows have regrettably had to postpone their London Brixton O2 Academy show due to illness and have re-scheduled the show for June 1st.
"Lead singer Adam Duritz has been suffering from the flu and is still not 100 per cent well. Adam wants to give his fans a full Counting Crows experience - a show which they deserve and expect. Although an uneasy decision to make, Duritz felt that this was the right choice under the difficult current circumstances.
"The band send their sincere apologies to their fans and look forward to playing this show on June 1st. All tickets for this re-scheduled show will remain valid."
