COSTELLO TAPES BIG INTERVIEWS FOR TV SHOW

ELVIS COSTELLO has taped interviews with TONY BENNETT, LOU REED and SIR ELTON JOHN for an upcoming TV variety show.
The British rocker has recorded four one-hour episodes of Spectacle: Elvis Costello With... for future broadcast.
Costello, who won acclaim when he sat in for ailing U.S. late night host David Letterman on his The Late Show in 2003, has also interviewed former U.S. President Bill Clinton for the show.
Musical highlights have included a collaboration between Costello and John and performances from Elvis Presley's former guitarist James Burton, Allen Toussaint and jazz guitarist Pat Metheny.
No dates have been set for the broadcasts.
