CONNICK HOPES TO REVIVE TOURISM IN NEW ORLEANS

Singer HARRY CONNICK JR is urging people to return to his hometown of New Orleans, insisting it has recovered from the destruction of Hurricane Katrina. The musician - who has helped repair the city's image since it was hit by the storm in 2005 - is hoping to boost tourism and return it to its former glory. He says, "New Orleans is the best city in the world. It is almost back to how it was. I urge people to come back and see us, see what we have done to revive the city."
