CONNICK AIDS KATRINA VICTIMS
HARRY CONNICK JR will donate all proceeds from his new single ALL THESE PEOPLE to a program to build new homes for New Orleans, Louisiana musicians displaced by Hurricane Katrina. The IT HAD TO BE YOU singer, who is a native of the city, will donate all proceeds to the New Orleans Habitat Musicians' Village. The song, which will be released 29 August (06), is a duet he recorded with gospel singer KIM BURRELL. Connick wrote the song after witnessing the devastation of the hurricane and it will be the first single from his new big-band album OH MY NOLA.
