CONNERY VOTED BEST BOND, GOLDFINGER BEST 007 FILM

Veteran actor SIR SEAN CONNERY has been named the best JAMES BOND and his 1964 007 movie GOLDFINGER the best Bond film, in a new survey. Connery, who was the first actor to portray the secret agent on the big screen in 1962's DR NO, beat out competition from ROGER MOORE, who was the second favourite Bond, followed by PIERCE BROSNAN in third place. In a survey of over 3,000 fans polled by British gift company Red Letter Days, Goldfinger was voted the best 007 movie, followed by LIVE AND LET DIE (1973) in second place, and DIE ANOTHER DAY (2002) in third. Elsewhere, URSULA ANDRESS, who played HONEY RYDER in Dr No, was named best Bond girl, followed by HONOR BLACKMAN as PUSSY GALORE in Goldfinger in second place, and HALLE BERRY as JINX JOHNSON in Die Another Day in third.
