COMMON: 'OBAMA WILL INFLUENCE HIP-HOP'
Hip-hop is set for a big happy boost as a result of BARACK OBAMA's U.S. election victory, according to rapper/actor COMMON.
The Wanted star insists the public was getting tired of rappers writing about guns, drugs, and crime and he is hopeful that Obama's White House win is a positive message to the world.
He is adamant hip-hop stars must follow the Democrat's example.
He says, "I really do believe we, as hip-hop artists, pick up what's going on in the world. I think hip-hop artists will have no choice but to talk about different things and more positive things. Try to bring a brighter side to that because, even before Barack, I think people had been tired of hearing the same thing."
