COMBS 'WORKED THINGS OUT' WITH CLUB BUST-UP COP

SEAN COMBS has downplayed his chaotic run-in with cops following Sunday night's (13Sep09) MTV Video Music Awards - insisting "miscommunication" was to blame for the bust-up.
The hip-hop star was celebrating at nightclub 1Oak with a host of celebrities, including Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and Lady Gaga, when he and his alleged girlfriend, singer Cassie, decided to leave the afterparty.
A crowd of clubgoers followed the pair onto the street, prompting an undercover cop to ask Diddy to return to the venue in a bid to control the growing mob.
When the rapper refused, patrol cars were forced to shut down the street to ensure the safety of the star and the throng of onlookers.
But Combs took to the radio airwaves in New York to explain the incident - insisting he and the unnamed officer soon made up following the argument.
He told radio station Hot 97, "It was just a little misunderstanding... miscommunication. Me and the officer, we worked it out... things were a little aggressive for me, which I'm not really used to."
