COMBS: 'NEW ACTS SAVED BAD BOY'
SEAN COMBS credits his two newest acts with saving his record label Bad Boy from the recession currently hitting the music industry. Combs confesses the company was experiencing a drought until young rappers CASSIE and YUNG JOC came along. Now things are better than ever. He says, "God sent me two new artists, Cassie and Yung Joc. "I have two records in the Top Ten (Yung Joc's IT'S GOIN' DOWN and Cassie's ME + U) and on the Rhythmic Chart we have the number 1 and number 2 records with Cassie and Yung Joc. There were times over the last few years, that the industry counted us out and now it's a big week. We are the only boutique label still standing."
