COLLINS STRUGGLING WITH US STAGE PERFORMANCES

Veteran star JOAN COLLINS has been forced to cancel a string of US stage performances as she battles persistent illness. The 73-year-old is starring alongside former DYNASTY adversary LINDA EVANS in the hit show LEGENDS!, but was advised by doctors to rest her voice earlier this month (JAN07). Collins ducked out of three shows in San Diego, California in the hope she would recover, but her return in Beverly Hills was short-lived and she was forced to take more time off. Now back on the stage, Collins insists her gruelling schedule is only making her worse. She says, "I lost my voice. Doctors told me not to talk and to rest. "I'm trying to force myself to do the show and it's making me worse."
