COLLINS MAKES COMEBACK AFTER BRAIN HAEMORRHAGE

Scottish singer EDWYN COLLINS will release his first album since undergoing surgery to treat two cerebral brain haemorrhages in February 2005. The former Orange Juice frontman, who scored a huge solo hit in 1995 with the single A Girl Like You, was admitted to a London hospital after complaining of nausea. The 47-year-old will issue his first album since 2002, Home Again, in September (07). Collins began work on the disc in 2004 before his life-threatening illness.
