COLLINS IS A GRANDFATHER

PHIL COLLINS has become a grandfather for the first time - his daughter JOELY is a new mum.
The former Genesis star flew to Canada last month (Oct09) when he heard the 37 year old had gone into labour in Vancouver.
Collins was delighted to meet baby Zoe Amelie, Joely's first child with husband Stefan Buitelaar, after the birth on 26 October (09) and he admits he's relishing his new role as a grandad.
He says, "Life has gone to a new level for me. I'm absolutely thrilled and I'm so happy for Joely and Stefan. They are truly happy."
Actress Joely, who was adopted by Collins and his ex-wife Andrea Bertorelli in 1975, adds, "Stefan and I feel truly blessed to have Zoe in our lives. She is a very happy, beautiful little girl."
