COLLINS FINALLY IN STUDIO AFTER ILLNESS
Scottish musician EDWYN COLLINS is determined to finish an album he started just months before he suffered a massive stroke and caught an MRSA infection.
The A GIRL LIKE YOU singer had two brain haemorrhages in 2005 rendering him unable to walk, read or communicate.
After a long recovery period, Collins has re-entered the studio and is excited to unleash COMING HOME - the project he was working on prior to his shock health problems.
Collins, 47, says, "Singing and playing the guitar are difficult at the moment. But it's great to be back in the studio.
"The album was ready for mixing just before I had my stroke. It was very bad timing! But we're getting it done - it will be released in September."
