COLLINS: 'BANDS SHOULD STICK TO THEIR OLD SONGS'

PHIL COLLINS has a tip for veteran bands on tour - ditch their new songs and stick to the classics. The British singer recently embarked on a world tour with reformed band Genesis - and knows what the fans really want is to hear the rockers' back catalogue. He says, "I saw The Who recently. Love the band, we go back many years. "But when they played their new mini-opera I noticed I became increasingly impatient. There was still a few real classics that I wanted to hear before the end of the show. When I looked around, I sensed similar reactions."
