Oscar nominee TONI COLLETTE and comedian CHRIS ROCK are unlikely pals - after the pair forged a close friendship during a traumatic cross country flight.
Collette insists the funnyman has a friend for life, after he comforted her while their jet was buffeted by a hurricane en route to New York from Los Angeles.
She explains, "We hit the remnants of a hurricane. I think I left claw marks in his arm.
"It was the most intense experience. It was petrifying, and I will forever be thankful, because he kept looking into my eyes and saying, 'we'll always have this Toni, we'll always have this.'"
