COLE'S REP DENIES MUM DEATH REPORTS

KEYSHIA COLE's representative has slammed reports the singer's mother was killed in a car crash.
Internet reports surfaced on Monday (30Mar09) claiming the R&B star's mum, Frankie Lons, had been involved in a fatal car collision.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton posted on his Twitter page, "Some awful rumor about Keyshia Cole is floating around. Anyone heard if this is true or not????"
But the reports are untrue - Lons is alive and well at her Atlanta, Georgia home, according to Cole's rep.
A statement released by Cole's label reads, "Imani Entertainment has received a huge amount of enquiries in regard to the rumor about Keyshia Cole's biological mom, Frankie Lons, having recently passed in an automobile accident.
"The rumor has absolutely NO truth to it - Frankie has not been in any accident of any kind and is doing well at home in Atlanta."
