COLE PLANS FASHION AND RECORD BUSINESS
GIRLS ALOUD star CHERYL COLE is already eyeing a career away from the spotlight - she plans to start up her own fashion line and record label.
The Love MAChine hitmaker released her debut solo single Fight For This Love on Monday (19Oct09), fuelling speculation she is seeking a move away from the British girlband.
The singer, who is also a judge on U.K. TV talent show The X Factor, insists music is her first love - but she's already planning several business ventures for when she eventually hangs up her mic.
Cole says, "I would love to make my own clothing range but if I ever did it I'd want to put the time and effort in properly, sit down and do the drawings, pick the fabric. I think it would be high street. It would be fun, but not right now.
"I have thought about running my own (record) label one day. I'd love to be working on the other side of music at some point, so hopefully one day I'd hope to be doing something on that side of it, definitely."
