COLE LANDS MULTI-MILLION DEAL FROM U.K. NETWORK

GIRLS ALOUD singer CHERYL COLE is set to become one of Britain's best paid TV stars - she has reportedly landed a $2.9 million (£2.1 million) contract to become the new face of a U.K. network.
The sexy star became a national treasure in her native Britain after taking over from rock matriarch Sharon Osbourne on U.K. TV talent contest The X Factor.
Cole, who is one fifth of Britain's best-selling girl group, went on to win the 2008 cycle after mentoring champion Alexandra Burke.
And bosses at the show's network ITV1 are so keen to keep Cole on screen, they are prepared to make her the second richest woman on U.K. TV.
According to Britain's News of the World newspaper, the $2.9 million deal will put her just behind The Weakest Link host Anne Robinson, who earns $4.2 million (£3 million) from the BBC show.
A source tells the publication, "They're are discussing whether Cheryl should host a chat show.
"Basically, they want her to become the Queen of ITV."
