COLDPLAY STAR IN FUNERAL DASH

COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN made a frantic dash across the U.K. to attend his beloved uncle's funeral on Friday (05Oct07). The singer, 30, left the London home he shares with wife Gwyneth Paltrow to attend the service for Angus Fleming on the remote Scottish isle of Arran. Martin - who heard his band's hit song Fix You played during the ceremony - was so exhausted from the trip he slept on the ferry on the way home. He says, "I'm very upset. My uncle has just died and I've been to his funeral. It's very difficult."
