COLDPLAY ANNOUNCE RETURN TO STUDIO WITH BRIAN ENO
British rock quartet Coldplay will soon commence new recording sessions with producer Brian Eno.
Eno worked with Chris Martin and company on their hugely successful 2008 release Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends and will return to the studio soon with Coldplay, said bassist Guy Berryman.
"When we get back into the studio we'll be able to pick up where we left off with Brian," he told the band's official website.
"We've worked on a few ideas in soundchecks."
The fourpiece are currently in the midst of a large world tour and are to play two dates at Wembley Stadium in September with support from Girls Aloud and Jay-Z.
"We actually had a big production meeting today [April 2nd] with all of the relevant people involved and went over all the plans," Berryman commented
"We've got some computer renderings of all the ideas and we're all quite excited about how it's looking - we're just working through a few logistical difficulties with some of the ideas that we've got.
"All we've really got to do is take the same principles of the arena show and make things a bit bigger."
He added: "I think they're probably going to be some of the best shows we'll ever do."
Berryman also revealed the Grammy winners have been rehearsing a number of older songs and could play the likes of Sparks, Warning Sign and White Shadows in their Wembley shows.
