Former PULP star JARVIS COCKER has given funnyman RUSSELL BRAND's pop career a boost by agreeing to write three songs for the Brit to sing in his new movie GET HIM TO THE GREEK.
Brand revives his outrageous rocker character Aldous Snow for the Forgetting Sarah Marshall sequel and Cocker is writing material for his alter-ego.
The Common People singer tells Billboard.com that what he has written so far is "rather silly," but adds the project is "a silly film".
