COBAIN + ROSE'S FEUD DETAILED IN ROCK MEMOIR
Rocker KURT COBAIN "detested" GUNS N' ROSES frontman AXL ROSE, according to a new book detailing the late musician's life.
Former record executive Danny Goldberg writes in his forthcoming memoirs, Bumping Into Geniuses, that the Nirvana singer and Rose were engaged in a bitter feud throughout their careers.
Goldberg claims promoters were desperate to launch a tour featuring Nirvana, Metallica and Guns N' Roses during the height of their popularity in the early 1990s.
But plans for the show were put on hold because of a rift between Cobain and Rose when the Nirvana frontman refused to meet Rose after a concert.
Goldberg writes: "There was a lot of money on the table. Kurt really liked Metallica... (but) Rose had the kind of macho rock persona that Kurt detested."
The book also tells how the grudge between the pair was still not settled when Cobain committed suicide in 1994.
Bumping Into Geniuses is scheduled to hit shelves next month (Sep08).

Hey Elissa,have some respect for a man who has the music scene forever, otherwise
we would have been stuck with MJ and Madonna kind of music...He has inspired so many
great musicians and artists...well about the addiction thats the choice he had made
...so we dont need to judge him about that,...

Kurt Cobain was an "A" Class jerk, with no talent, just some sobby, whiney feel sorry
for me because I am a Heroin Addict B.S., then thinking only of himself killed himself
leaving his daughter. He didn't like Axl Rose because Axl has talent and decided
not to be a major junkie like Cobain and though he may be a jerk at times who isn't
in this business. Nikki Sixx cleaned his life up and openly admits he was an A-hole
through the majority of his addiction, and is more amazing now than ever.
Let's all shed a tear for the poor little baby Kurt who took the cowards way out
instead of being a man. Talk about a jerk!
