CLOONEY'S AUNT KEPT HIM CLEAN

GEORGE CLOONEY credits his aunt - 1950s singer ROSEMARY CLOONEY - with steering him away from drug addiction.
The Ocean's Eleven star was offered painkiller Vicodin by doctors after hurting his back filming the 2005 oil industry drama Syriana.
But he refused to take a single pill - because he had seen Rosemary's career plummet after she became hooked on prescription drugs.
Clooney says, "My father had a difficult time for years when she was addicted to Percodan. My aunt's addiction haunted me when I injured my back.
"The doctors gave me a tub of Vicodin, but I didn't take any. I thought, 'This is a bad time to decide to be a drug addict'. It's all timing - when I'm 80, I'm all for being a drug addict, but not now."
