CLOONEY TO PLOUGH MORE CASH INTO PITT'S NEW ORLEANS PROJECT

GEORGE CLOONEY is planning to invest more money in pal BRAD PITT's housing project in New Orleans, Louisiana after sponsoring the build of two homes earlier this year (08).
The Fight Club star launched the Make It Right Foundation to raise funds for housing in the city after the devastation caused by 2005's Hurricane Katrina.
And Pitt's Ocean's Eleven co-star Clooney is keen to donate more to the charitable project - adding to the $300,000 (GBP150,000) he's already handed over to help those less fortunate.
He says, "I've bought a couple of those houses already that he's building. You can build a house for $150,000 (GBP75,000), which is amazing. So I bought two of them and plan on buying more as they're doing an amazing thing there."
And Clooney has also confessed to his huge admiration for Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie's charitable efforts: "There is a tendency to make fun of people who get involved in these sorts of things. Brad went there, builds houses, he can do a lot of other things with his time. He and Angie really put their money where their mouth is. I'm always very impressed by them."

I have a friend that still has a family living in New Orleans ( she moved to Hunterville NC after Katrina) When I spoke to her awhile back she told me that there is still so much to be done there. I applaud anyone that is able and willing to help out. Once again I think George is proving what a kind hearted and generous man he is. He doesn't have to be involved at all but he is. Good for you George!
