CLOONEY GIVES ITALIAN EARTHQUAKE CITY A MOVIE BOOST

GEORGE CLOONEY has given the people of L'Aquila, Italy a boost as they try to recover from an April (09) earthquake - he plans to shoot his next film there.
The movie hunk, who owns a vacation home on the banks of Lake Como in Italy, visited the devastated Italian city on Thursday (09Jul09), and thrilled locals with his film news.
He said, "We'll shoot a film here at the end of September, in which I will act," adding he hoped the project would help revive the area's economy.
During his whistle-stop helicopter visit to L'Aquila, Clooney also met many of those left homeless by the earthquake, which killed more than 300 people.
