CLOONEY 'FUMED' OVER JACKMAN'S SEXY TITLE

GEORGE CLOONEY was 'furious' he missed out on People magazine's coveted Sexiest Man Alive title, and called this year's choice, HUGH JACKMAN in a faux rage.
Jackman was handed the honour by last week (ends21Nov08), succeeding last year's top hunk Matt Damon, and beating Clooney who last won in 2006.
But the Ocean's Eleven star was hoping to reclaim the title and woke Jackman with a late-night phone call to remonstrate with him.
The newly-crowned sexy star jokes, "George Clooney rang me at two in the morning. I was half asleep and I said to him, 'Ah, George sweetie, good to hear from you.'
"He goes, 'Shut up, Jackman, know what you did? You started this big campaign that's been going on and (you) took the title away from me.'
"I thought that was unnecessary."
