CLOONEY + CHEADLE REWARDED FOR DARFUR WORK
GEORGE CLOONEY and DON CHEADLE's efforts to raise awareness about the genocide in Darfur has earned the OCEAN'S 13 co-stars a major international prize. The pair will be honoured with the Peace Summit Award at the World Summit of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates in Rome, Italy on 13 December (07). The actors teamed up to stage Darfur benefits around the premieres for their casino heist movie. Clooney and his father also travelled to Darfur in 2006 to shoot a short film about the plight of refugees.
