CLINIC CONCERT CANCELLED AFTER STUDENTS PROTEST

British rockers CLINIC have been forced to cancel an upcoming gig at Central St Martin's College Of Art + Design in London - after students claimed it would affect their studies. The cult band was due to perform next Thursday (07DEC06), until some students warned they would stage a sit-in if the concert went ahead. A statement reads: "A small minority of students saw the show as a perceived disruption to their studies and were threatening to stage a sit-in protest." Clinic were due to be supported by THESE NEW PURITANS and THE ARCHIE BRONSON OUTFIT at the gig, which is now due to be rescheduled.
