KELLY CLARKSON has had the phrase 'Love them more' added to her tattoo collection - to remind her to heap affection on those who make her life difficult.
The Since U Been Gone singer admits it's a line her stepfather uses to explain why people you love can often be mean.
The American Idol star says, "My stepdad always told me if someone was being hurtful, it means you need to love them more; they're obviously missing it.
"It's easy to love your friends, but it's harder to to love people who are trying to make it difficult. I'm all about loving more."
