CINDERELLA SCRAP TOUR AFTER SINGER'S VOCAL CORD HAEMORRHAGES

Eighties rockers CINDERELLA have been forced to cancel a string of shows to allow frontman TOM KEIFER to recover from a vocal cord haemorrhage.
Keifer has been told there's no way he'll be able to sing in the immediate future, prompting the group to scrap all upcoming headlining appearances.
A statement from tour promoter Live Nation reads, "It's with unbelievably deep regret that we must announce that Cinderella's Tom Keifer's left vocal cord has haemorrhaged (sic).
"Tom felt his throat give way... finishing the set in preproduction rehearsals, went to his vocal doctor in Nashville... and was told the grim news.
"Tom's doctor told him it would be two to three weeks before the swelling and damage would recede to a point where an assessment can be made as to whether surgery will be required.
"Consequently, and again, most regretfully, we have no choice but to postpone the upcoming Cinderella tour until such time as Tom is ready to tour again."
