CHESNEY TO PRODUCE WILLIE NELSON'S NEXT ALBUM

Country superstar KENNY CHESNEY is set to add producer to his impressive resume after WILLIE NELSON personally asked him to take charge of his upcoming covers album. Nelson plans to record songs written by KRIS KRISTOFFERSON, RANDY NEWMAN and JIMMY BUFFETT on the new project with Chesney at the controls. The pair have been pals ever since Chesney sang Nelson's THE LAST THING I NEEDED at a televised tribute concert to the grizzled country star in 2003.
