CHEADLE'S SAXOPHONE LESSONS HELP HIM MASTER MILES DAVIS
Movie star DON CHEADLE's saxophone-playing past is giving the actor an edge as he prepares to play jazz great MILES DAVIS on the big screen.
The HOTEL RWANDA star is taking trumpet lessons in a bid to master Davis' signature instrument - and he admits a little sax appeal is helping him tremendously.
He explains, "I play the sax and I'm starting to play the trumpet, we're developing that right now."
But he wishes he'd stuck to his saxophone lessons: "I never dedicated myself and took it as seriously as I could have... Once I hit a bad note, I quit."
