CHASE RECREATES GIBSON ARREST ON LAW + ORDER

Comic legend CHEVY CHASE will appear on an upcoming episode of LAW + ORDER inspired by MEL GIBSON's infamous drink driving arrest. In the episode, which started filming this week (beg25SEP06), Chase guest stars as a television celebrity who is pulled over for drink driving while wearing blood-soaked clothes, and whose religious prejudice comes out after his arrest. Gibson was arrested in July (06) for drink driving in Malibu, California, and made anti-Semitic comments to his arresting officers. The Law + Order episode, titled IN VINO VERITAS, is scheduled to air on 3 November (06), according to Moviehole.net.
