CHARLATANS STAR ABUSED ALCOHOL TO GRIEVE FOR BANDMATE

THE CHARLATANS frontman TIM BURGESS' alcohol addiction spiralled out of control following the death of bandmate Rob Collins.
The band's keyboardist was killed in a car smash in Wales in 1996.
And Burgess admits it took him 10 years of alcohol abuse to come to terms with his pals' death.
He says, "It was absolutely the lowest point.
"I can't wish it on any human being to lose someone that close.
"It was ten years from Rob dying to me giving up drinking and I honestly think it took me that long to get over losing him."
