CHARLATANS AND DELAYS SET FOR SUNDAE ON THE COMMON

The Charlatans, Delays and Guillemots have been confirmed as the first acts to play the Saturday of Ben & Jerry's Sundae on the Common.

Ash, Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly and the Lemonheads are set to take the stage on the festival's second day on Sunday July 27th and now the acts for day one have also been confirmed.

Charlotte Hatherley, Florence and the Machine, Brightlights and the Troubadours will also perform on London's Clapham Common as part of the celebrations of the ice cream brand's 30th birthday.

Jerry Greenfield, the latter half of the Ben & Jerry's brand, will also be on hand for the south London event, which will feature the usual combination of live music, fairground attractions and free ice cream.

Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess commented: "I am really excited at the prospect at playing at this year's Ben & Jerry's festival, it has it all....the weather, the line up and the atmosphere.

"The band have wanted to play there for a while now but due to other commitments we were unable to so we are glad to finally be getting the opportunity this summer!"

The event marks the 30th anniversary of Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield opening an ice cream parlour in Burlington, Vermont.
