CHAPMAN'S SON JAILED FOR PAROLE VIOLATION

The son of TV star DUANE 'DOG' CHAPMAN has been jailed for violating multiple terms of his parole. Tucker Chapman, who hit the headlines last year (07) after he went public with an audiotape, on which his father was heard calling his Mexican girlfriend a "whore" and a "n**ger", was taken to the Oahu Correction Facility in Hawaii on Friday (22Feb08) following a visit from a parole officer earlier this week (ends24Feb08). He is alleged to have associated with known felons, failed a drug test and walked away from a rehab facility - all of which constitute violating his parole, reports TMZ.com. And dad Duane insists he is devastated by the news, but is adamant Tucker is better off in jail where he cannot "hurt himself". He says, "I am heart broken that this has occurred, but I am relieved that my son is now in a place where he can no longer hurt himself. "To my bruddahs in the system: please don't hurt my son as he knows not what he does. I love my son and wish him the best." The star's TV show Dog The Bounty Hunter was reinstated this week (ends24Feb08). The series was axed following Chapman's taped racial slur last November (07).
