CHANNING TATUM UNPREPARED FOR FAME
'G. I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra' actor Channing Tatum says he is amazed at how ''crazy'' his life has got.
Channing Tatum has a "crazy" life.
The 'G. I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra' actor admits he is completely unprepared for fame and feels bemused by his success.
He said: "Actually, my life is getting a little bit crazy. I don't think I can honestly say that I'm ready. I'm still trying to figure it all out."
The actor is set to see his fame boosted even further when 'G. I. Joe…' opens in cinemas and admits he was "terrified" of appearing in such a big movie.
He told the Chicago Sun Times newspaper: "It would have been daunting for a seasoned actor to do this film - or even an actor who had done an action film before but maybe was used to being a little lower on the call sheet.
"I had no idea what I was doing. I had no clue. I was actually terrified of the movie."
Despite his success, Channing insists he is still down-to-earth.
He added: "I'm from the South. If I didn't open up the door for my mom or my sister, I got slapped in the back of the head. I still have my manners."
