CHANEL INSPIRES MACLAINE'S JEWELLERY LINE

Playing fashion designer COCO CHANEL in a new TV movie has inspired actress SHIRLEY MACLAINE to develop a jewellery line.
The Terms of Endearment star admits the role helped turn her into a creative force and now she has joined pal Elizabeth Taylor as a gem designer.
She says, "I was involved with Coco Chanel's jewellery, while making the film and it really inspired me.
"I'd always wanted to do a jewellery collection, and so I put one together after I finished the film."
MACLaine reveals her new line, Sky Jewelry, marries the actress' famous love of spiritual matters and gems.
She explains, "The jewellery goes on the tops of the fingers, and these are all reflections of the chakras and our inner power."
