CHAN GETS MUSICAL
Actor JACKIE CHAN is eyeing up a new career in music - he has agreed to perform at a special one-off concert in Beijing, China.
The Rush Hour star will be joined by a host of musicians at the Beijing National Stadium in the Chinese capital for the May (09) show, which is titled Descendants of the Dragon: Jackie Chan and friends.
And Chan is looking forward to singing at the 91,000-seat arena, despite his inexperience behind the microphone.
He says, "I only feel the pressure when I make films. I believe the audiences will forgive me if I forget the lyrics or I can't keep the tempo."
Chan's appearance will provide a much needed boost to the iconic sporting arena, which has rarely been used since hosting athletics events at last year's Olympic Games (08).

Dear Mr Jackie Chan!!!When I was 12 years old it was during the Romania
Revolution 1989-1990; you know about Ceausescu. I was in an orphanage when I
saw one movie with Jackie Chan: Twin Dragons. I loved this movie so much, and
when I'm sad I watch a Jackie Chan movie everyday. He makes me happy and I
forget all my troubles. That is my story about my hero Jackie Chan. You know
how it is to not have parents but what I learned about life from my hero Jackie
Chan is that I must be strong. I'm lucky because I have 2 brothers and I have
my hero Jackie Chan. I think every day, why don't I have parents or when can I
see my hero in real life? I have my dreams and I hope to really meet you one
day in my life.Mr Jackie Chan you rende me the smile on my face with you
movie,i'm your big fan.Happy Birthday end God Bless You Mr Jackie Chan.
