CHADHA EXPECTING TWINS

Director GURINDER CHADHA is pregnant for the first time - and is expecting twins. The 46-year-old BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM filmmaker, who is currently working on the script for the movie version of 1980s series DALLAS, is due to give birth in July this year (07). She says, "I'm four-and-a-half months pregnant. I'm very excited. I had to take a break from Dallas. They want to wait for me. It's twins - there's lots of twins in my family." Chadha admits husband and expectant father PAUL BERGES, who co-wrote Bend It Like Beckham, is also delighted by the news. She adds, "Paul and I have been married for 10 years so we're thrilled. It's been very hard to plan as we've been so busy. The babies are due in July, but twins always come early."
