JET frontman NIC CESTER was "devastated" when newspapers in his native Australia started suggesting he was dating pal CHRIS ROBINSON's estranged wife KATE HUDSON, according to his bandmates. Cester took Hudson out for dinner while the actress was filming Down Under - and the country's press went crazy with the news of a possible romance. The rocker's bandmate Mark Wilson says, "It was absolute rubbish. Nic's friends with her ex, Chris Robinson, as well. He's been friends with her for years. He went out for dinner with her in Brisbane. "He was devastated when it made all the papers."
