CELEBRITY STYLIST SUES LEIBOVITZ OVER 'UNPAID WAGES'

Controversial photographer ANNIE LEIBOVITZ has been targeted in a new lawsuit - after a celebrity stylist accused her of failing to pay almost $400,000 (GBP266,670) for her work on a photoshoot with SCARLETT JOHANSSON.
According to the suit filed in Manhattan, New York earlier this month (Nov08) by stylist Nicoletta Santora's company The Art Department Creative Services, Leibovitz has paid less than $130,000 (GBP86,670) of the $515,000 (GBP343,330) in wages billed to her between July and December 2007.
The pair worked together in an advertising campaign for Disney, starring Jessica Biel, Jennifer Lopez and David Beckham as the company's famous fairytale characters.
Santora alleges she was not paid in full for her work - including creating a Cinderella gown worn by Johansson, pictured running down a staircase as the damsel before she loses her glass slipper.
Legal papers claim Leibovitz agreed to pay Santora's daily rate of $6,000 (GBP4,000), wages for her assistants, and a 20 per cent agency commission, reports the New York Post.
Santora's lawyer, Neal Johnston, says Leibovitz verbally agreed to pay the balance but has yet to do so.
