CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER HOUSEMATES COMPETE FOR CREDITS

The contestants on the new series of Celebrity Big Brother will be featured on the closing credits of an upcoming episode.

If appearing onscreen for the entirety of the show was not enough for the housemates, they will decide between themselves which of their number will be seen as the credits roll.

One celebrity will receive a 'starring' credit, with two named as 'co-stars' and another pair credited as 'featuring'.

Three will be named as 'extras' while three will receive no credit at all.

TV presenter Terry Christian, recently named head of house, will be handed a video camera to film the housemates in a 'closing credits style', which will be screened at the end of the following episode.

However, the former Word host will have further power to wield, as he will be able to decide the first contestant to face the public vote.

Terry is to decide which housemate has the most inflated ego, with that celebrity put up for eviction.

The launch show of the 2009 edition Celebrity Big Brother earned an audience of 5.66 million, making it the most watched programme in its Friday night timeslot.
