CEDRIC BLAMES NEW YORK CRITIC FOR BUFFALO FLOP

Funnyman CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER isn't laughing about the failure of his Broadway play AMERICAN BUFFALO - and he's blaming one New York critic for the show's early death.
The David Mamet play, which also starred Haley Joel Osment and John Leguizamo, opened to much hype on 17 November (08), but it closed after just eight performances.
And Barbershop star Cedric insists one reviewer in particular was responsible.
The bitter star says, "We got crushed by one critic, Ben Brantley from The New York Times. All you need is one to say bad things and he was the only one. So, write your protest letters to Ben Brantley!"
Brantley likened the revival to "a souped-up sports car's flat tire, built for speed but going nowhere."
