Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz loves her boyfriend because he is a ''manly man'' who is always ''totally himself''.

Rachel Weisz is a cavewoman.

The Oscar-winning actress - who has been dating 'The Wrestler' director Darren Aronofsky for eight years - says their relationship works so well because they are always honest with each other she doesn't have to pretend to be something she isn't.

She said: "In life I am a chameleon, and can sense very quickly how to fit in. But with him, I am not being adaptive. I am cavewoman to his manly man. He is always totally himself. I love it that he doesn't feel the need to fill silences with polite chat - his ability to cut to the chase is very exotic to me."

The couple - who have three-year-old son Henry together - are about to leave their family home in the Hollywood hills and return to Rachel's native London, where she will star in the theatre production of 'A Streetcar Named Desire'

The 38-year-old beauty says Darren is thrilled about the move because it means he will be able to shop at High Street store Argos.

She told Britain's Harper's Bazaar magazine: "For him it's all so exotic. He's enchanted by the city, especially shopping at Argos, pronounced 'our ghost' without the T!' "
