CAT POWER IN INDIA WITH CLEAN WATER CHARITY

Cult singer CAT POWER is meeting with humanitarian aid groups in India to try and help provide clean water and sanitation in the country. The American musician - real name Chan Marshall - is on an awareness-raising mission as she travels with Scott Harrison, the found of Charity: Water. She has so far spent two days in Bangalore. Before her visit, Cat Power said she planned to "visit a few hospitals with no water and then gonna dig a well for a few schools and just do basic travelling to 'find' new places for wells."
