CASINO ROYALE TRIUMPHS AT EMPIRE FILM AWARDS

CASINO ROYALE has emerged the big winner at the Empire Film Awards in London, winning three trophies including Best Film and Best Actor for new 007 DANIEL CRAIG. Bond girl EVA GREEN completed the hatrick by taking home Best Female Newcomer. Elsewhere, UNITED 93 won Best British Film and CHRISTOPHER NOLAN was honoured with the Best Director award for THE PRESTIGE. Over 50,000 readers of British movie magazine Empire voted for the awards. Empire assistant editor IAN FREER says, "I'm delighted that Empire readers have decided that Casino Royale is the best film of the year.
