CASINO ROYALE is already breaking box office records after making $3 million (GBP1.7 million) on its first day of release - and is set to be the biggest earning JAMES BOND movie of all time Fans of the franchise rushed to cinemas in Britain yesterday (16NOV06) to check out DANIEL CRAIG's debut as the superspy. Takings are higher than any of the 20 previous 007 films - more than 50 per cent more than the previous record-holder, 2002's DIE ANOTHER DAY. A staggering two-thirds of movie tickets sold in Britain were for Casino Royale, according to distributor Columbia Tri-Star. The film hits movie theatres in the US and Canada today (17NOV06).
