CARRABBA'S TATTOO TRAUMA
DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL rocker CHRIS CARRABBA still smarts when he recalls his first tattoo experience, because a pal etched it with a mail-order tattoo gun. The VINDICATED singer was the wannabe artist's guinea pig as he tried out his fledgling skills - and it's a permanent reminder of the pain he went through. He explains, "I was 15 or 16. He (friend) could draw well - I'm sure he went on to become a wonderful tattoo artist. "When you get a tattoo, you get spots of blood. I was gushing as if I'd been stabbed by a butcher's knife. The tattoo has since raised, like, three inches."
