CARLSON: 'CHRISTOPHER REEVE'S ACCIDENT WAS HIS OWN FAULT'

NIP/TUCK actress KELLY CARLSON blames CHRISTOPHER REEVE for the horse-jumping accident that left the SUPERMAN actor paralysed in 1995. Reeve, the star of four Superman movies between 1978 and 1987, died in 2004 from complications arising from the accident. Carlson tells PageSix.com, "OK, this is going to offend people, I love Christopher Reeve but it (the accident) was more his fault. When you're jumping a horse, 99.9 per cent of the time it's your fault. "You never take a horse over a fence unless your horse is totally trained to do it, and you have a relationship with the horse. It's all about trust. "Chris probably wasn't sitting right in the saddle. That's the only reason why you fall off."
